MANA SUZUKI

Born in Tokyo. Spent her early childhood and university years in Scotland, U.K. (Total of 11 years)

BSc Honors Biological Sciences (Ecology) from University of Edinburgh. MSc Biological Sciences from Kyoto University Graduate School of Science.

After completing her master’s degree, Mana worked in the procurement department of a Japanese animal feed company, and then as a technical sales manager in an American feed additive company; mainly translating and interpreting for Japanese clients.

She has a worldwide network (over 15 countries) through her volunteer activities in an international outdoor club (IOC Kansai), and as a counsellor for international students (JFIE).

Her husband is a marine biologist.

Holder of EIKEN Grade 1 and TESOL Certification for English teaching.

Specializes in natural sciences, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and outdoor sports.
