“Helping to globalize businesses”

Mana Suzuki, an interpreter from Maizuru City, started a consulting business in interpretation, translation, and business language training. She is a certified trainer of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and also has experience working in a foreign company. She intends to help companies who are interested in expanding business globally; offering them practical English training which will equip them with communication skills in everyday business.

Ms. Suzuki says: “I hope to bridge companies to the global market and help the region become more active in international exchange.”

“Introducing Maizuru in English”

 

Maizuru City welcomes an increasing number of foreign visitors each year. A teacher from a local English conversation school (Mana Suzuki) is running an English course. She teaches ways to introduce the local history and attractions, and also to communicate effectively with foreigners. Many locals of a wide age range are attending the course with enthusiasm to put these skills into action.
